05#Remedial method after piercing
For venipuncture, after the blood vessel is punctured, use finger pressure to puncture the site to stop bleeding as a remedy, that is, after the blood vessel is punctured, the needle is slowly withdrawn, and when the blood returns stop, immediately finger press the punctured site, and at the same time loosen the tourniquet. Secure the needle handle with 1 strip of adhesive tape. First press with your fingers for about 1 second, then open the infusion regulator, press lightly with your fingers to see if the liquid can pass through slowly, and stop pressing after observing that there is no extravasation for about 1 minute, fix the needle with adhesive tape, and adjust the number of drops.
This method is especially suitable for infants, the elderly and patients who are not easy to find blood vessels. A further supplement is made to this method, that is, after the blood vessel is punctured, the needle should not be stopped after the needle is withdrawn and the blood returns. When doing venipuncture, the infusion needle should leave 1/4 of the length of the needle stick outside the skin, so as to achieve rescue after puncturing the blood vessel.
